James Zurlo – Head of Prime Service Sales.  

Jim brings over twenty years of experience in prime brokerage, hedge fund servicing and derivatives to Saratoga Capital.  Previously, Jim led prime brokerage sales for Garwood Securities and was the founder of SeaCrest Capital, a marketing firm focusing on the hedge fund community.  Mr. Zurlo was also President of Hedge Fund Solutions, LLC – a division of APB Financial Group.  At HFS Jim was responsible for business development and management. Prior to joining SeaCrest, he served in various prime brokerage capacities with industry leaders including UBS PaineWebber, Morgan Stanley, Republic NY Securities, and Shearson Lehman Brothers.  Jim worked in sales, management, and operations roles to help develop and manage these firms’ hedge fund businesses. His depth of experience in these areas is key to developing Saratoga’s Prime Brokerage business.

John Forte - Head of Prime Service Operations

John P. Forte brings ten years of operational management experience in the financial services industry to Saratoga Capital.  Prior to joining the Prime Services division, Mr. Forte was the owner and operator of Fralia Financial Associates, where he assisted multiple financial services companies in business development and sales.  Mr. Forte started his financial services career in Sales & Relationship Management at Instinet, where he was instrumental in the development of the firm’s product offering for the hedge fund community.  Mr. Forte’s extensive experience in a variety of management roles and his industry knowledge are an integral part to the success of Saratoga’s Prime Brokerage Business.  Mr. Forte holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Finance from St. John’s University.

Chris Meissner - Client Services

Chris is the newest member of the Saratoga Capital Prime Services client service team.  He recently finished his MBA studies at Baruch College in New York City after attending Connecticut College in New London for his bachelor’s degree.   As a client care specialist, Chris facilitates clients' daily prime broker and general business activity.
