Kevin Tingley - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mr. Tingley serves the dual role of CEO, responsible for managing the day to day operations of the firm, and the Head of Institutional Equity Sales and Trading.

Mr. Tingley joined Saratoga Capital in May of 2005 and was instrumental in building the Equities Division.  He was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in January 2007.  As a former OTC market-maker, listed block trader, NYSE floor broker and institutional sales trader, Mr. Tingly brings extensive trading knowledge and expertise to Saratoga Capital.  Prior to joining Saratoga, Mr. Tingley had held senior positions in equity sales and trading at:

  • Moors & Cabot 2002 -2005, Institutional trading; Listed, OTC, and Bulletin Board equities in their Direct Access Group
  • Deutsche Bank 2000 – 2002, Vice President, OTC sales covering institutional accounts
  • Goldman Sachs 1995 – 2000, Vice President, Position Trader on the OTC desk.

 

Mr. Tingley holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University, and holds the Finra Series 7, 24, 55 and 63 licenses. Mr. Tingley resides in Stamford, CT with his wife and two children.


Thomas T. Halikias
- Managing Director

Mr. Halikias oversees the firm’s derivatives operations and is responsible for new business development.

Mr. Halikias has over 20 years of experience on Wall Street. He has previously been employed at BCM Futures, Susquehanna Investment Group and UBS. At UBS, Mr. Halikias, a Managing Director in Global Equity Derivatives Group, served as Head of Risk for the Americas Region (US, Canada and Latin America), overseeing a multi-billion dollar book of listed and structured derivatives. During his tenure, UBS was cited as Risk Magazine’s Equity Derivatives Exotic House of the Year four times and as IFR’s Equity Derivatives House of the year in 1996. While at UBS, Mr. Halikias was exposed to a vast array of trading structures and styles. He frequently dealt with the hedge fund community, creating specialized transactions to isolate and amplify a fund’s targeted exposure.

Mr. Halikias holds a Bachelors in Science in both Finance and Accounting from Lehigh University.  Mr. Halikias holds the Finra Series 3, 4, 7, 24 and 63 licenses. He resides in New York, New York.



Jason D. Halikias
-  Options Desk Head

Mr. Halikias has over 13 years of  trading experience.  He started his career as an Options Market Maker for the Peduzzi Investment Group and later started his own fund, Greek Trading LLC.  While running Greek Trading LLC, Mr. Halikias managed the risk of the firm, day to day operations and pricing models.   He moved to the sell side in 2004, joining Collins Stewart (F/K/A Tullet Liberty) specializing in volatility transactions.  Mr. Halikias graduated from Loyola College, earning a major in Finance.  Mr. Halikias holds the Finra Series 4, 7 and 63 licenses.
